Letting a company you’ve never met work on your house is a leap of faith. You’re trusting them with your siding, your roof, your landscaping, and usually your schedule too. I don’t take that lightly, so I want to walk you through exactly how a job with us goes, from your first phone call to the moment we pack up.
Step 1: You call, and I actually call you back
When you reach out, by phone at (410) 948-0228 or through our contact form, I’ll get back to you quickly. I’ll ask what you want cleaned, roughly how big the house is, and what’s bothering you about it: green siding, a streaked roof, a stained driveway, gutters that are overflowing.
Customers mention in their reviews that we were prompt with a quote and that we got them on the schedule fast. One customer contacted us on a Friday about her dad’s house in Pasadena, and we had the job done the following Monday. I can’t promise every job moves that quickly, especially in spring, but I’ll always tell you honestly when we can get there.
Step 2: A clear quote, with no surprises
Your quote should tell you exactly what’s included. If it says house wash, you should know whether that means the gutters’ outside faces, the porch ceiling, the front walk. I’d rather spend a few extra minutes making sure we agree on the scope than have you find out on cleaning day that something you expected isn’t covered.
Fair, honest pricing comes up again and again in our reviews, and I’m proud of that.
Step 3: Before we start, we walk the property together
When we arrive, we don’t just unload and start spraying. I walk around the house with you and go over the job: what we’re cleaning, how we’re going to clean each surface, what we’ll protect, and anything I noticed that you should know about, like loose siding, cracked trim or moss on the roof.
This is your chance to point out anything you care about. The plant your mother gave you, the pool you just opened, the dog that’s going to want to be outside. I’d much rather hear about it before we start. If you have questions about what we use or how we protect your yard, I explain all of that in how we protect plants, pets and pools.
One of my favorite reviews came from a first-time customer who said I went over everything, explained how the job would be handled, and answered every question without making her feel rushed. That’s exactly how it should go.
Step 4: The cleaning
Each surface gets the method that suits it. Siding and roofs get a low-pressure soft wash. Driveways, sidewalks and patios get pressure washed. Gutters get cleaned out, and we clean up the mess afterward instead of leaving it on your lawn.
We pay attention to the details, because that’s what you’ll notice afterward: the corners, the spots behind the downspouts, the porch ceiling. If we’re there and I see something small that would look better cleaned, like a front door, a set of steps or a hose box, we’ll often just take care of it. Customers have mentioned that more than once in their reviews, and it’s always been my favorite part to read.
Step 5: The final walk-around
When we’re done, we walk the property again, together. You look at everything with your own eyes, and if anything isn’t right, we fix it right then. I’d rather spend another twenty minutes on your house than have you find a spot we missed after we’ve left.
That’s what standing behind your work means to me. One customer put it simply in his review: Frank does excellent work and stands by it to make sure you’re satisfied. That’s the whole job.
How to get ready for your house wash
- Close all windows and doors, including garage doors.
- Move cars off the driveway if we’re cleaning it.
- Clear porches and patios of anything fragile, plus pet bowls and toys.
- Unlock gates so we can reach every side of the house.
- Keep pets inside until we tell you the surfaces are rinsed and dry.
- Make a list of anything you want us to look at or be careful with.
Common questions
Do I need to be home?
I like to do the before and after walk-arounds with you, so being home at least at the start and the end is best. If that doesn’t work for your schedule, tell me and we’ll work something out.
What happens if it rains?
Weather in Maryland has its own plans. If rain or cold is going to affect the quality of the job, we’ll reschedule with you, and we’ll get back out as soon as we can. We’ve had customers in a time crunch before closing on a house, and we made sure the job got done.
How long does a house wash take?
It depends on the size of the house and what’s included. Most homes are done in part of a day. I’ll give you a realistic idea when I quote the job.
What areas do you serve?
We work across Anne Arundel, Howard and Baltimore County, including Catonsville, Owings Mills, Columbia, Millersville, Pasadena and Severna Park.
